Remington has brought a new heavy hitter to the 1911 R1 line for 2018.
Meet the R1 Enhanced Double Stack in .45 ACP. The EDS features a 5″ match grade stainless barrel, front and rear slide serrations, a beavertail grip safety, enhanced thumb safety, red fiber-optic front sight, and adjustable two-dot rear sights.
Named for it’s hefty magazine, the EDS has a whopping 15+1 capacity. The entire thing measures 8.5″ overall with an empty weight of 41 oz.
